This is a hip-hop event inspired by the boom-bap era of the 90s and early 2000s. Providing a space for beat makers and lyricists to vibe and perform sets in a living room like setting. Limited food will be provided by Stan the owner along with a cash bar. Vintage skateboard videos will be played in the background amongst a display of art pieces done by yours truly. The core of the night will evolve through DJ sets, freestyle cyphers and live performances at a first come first serve basis. This will be Living Room Session lucky number 7. The first one occurred in November of 2018 and has been an annual event (with the exception of the covid lockdown of 2020), for fans of hip-hop culture in the Joliet and surrounding areas…No cover but donations are welcome… hope to see you there! ✌🏽
