Join us this St David’s Day for The Little Things Festival, inspired by Dewi Sant’s powerful final sermon, which urged us to appreciate the small but meaningful joys in life. Set against the stunning backdrop of the National Botanic Garden of Wales, this vibrant, bilingual celebration brings Welsh culture to life through a day of discovery, creativity and connection.
Follow an interactive trail winding through the garden, uncovering hidden delights at every turn. Enjoy live musical performances across both the main stage and more intimate spaces throughout the site, and take part in hands-on workshops exploring performance, nature and craft. From music to making, every corner of the festival invites you to pause, explore and celebrate what makes Welsh culture so special.
Musical performances will feature exciting emerging artists from BBC Horizons/Gorwelion, Wales’ premier scheme for developing contemporary music talent. These rising stars represent the future of Welsh music, bringing fresh sounds and energy to the garden throughout the day.
We’re also delighted to welcome visual artist Nathan Wyburn, who will be in residence throughout February, creating ten artworks of Welsh icons using unexpected and surprising materials. His work perfectly reflects the festival’s theme, transforming humble, everyday materials into striking large-scale art.
On 1 March, visitors will be able to watch Nathan work live on his final masterpiece throughout the day. His creative process – turning little things into something magnificent – sits at the very heart of the festival.

Wedi’i osod yn erbyn cefndir godidog Gardd Fotaneg Genedlaethol Cymru, mae’r dathliad bywiog, dwyieithog hwn yn dod â diwylliant Cymru yn fyw trwy ddiwrnod o ddarganfod, creadigrwydd a chysylltiad.
Dilynwch lwybr rhyngweithiol sy’n troelli trwy’r ardd, gan ddatgelu hyfrydwch cudd ym mhob tro. Mwynhewch berfformiadau cerddorol byw ar draws y prif lwyfan a mannau mwy agos atoch ledled y safle, a chymerwch ran mewn gweithdai ymarferol sy’n archwilio perfformio, natur a chrefft. O gerddoriaeth i greu, mae pob cornel o’r ŵyl yn eich gwahodd i oedi, archwilio a dathlu’r hyn sy’n gwneud diwylliant Cymru mor arbennig.
Bydd perfformiadau cerddorol yn cynnwys artistiaid cyffrous sy’n dod i’r amlwg o BBC Horizons/Gorwelion, prif gynllun Cymru ar gyfer datblygu talent cerddoriaeth gyfoes. Mae’r sêr sy’n dod i’r amlwg hyn yn cynrychioli dyfodol cerddoriaeth Cymru, gan ddod â synau ac egni ffres i’r ardd drwy gydol y dydd.
Rydym hefyd yn falch iawn o groesawu’r artist gweledol Nathan Wyburn, a fydd yn breswyl drwy gydol mis Chwefror, yn creu deg gwaith celf o eiconau Cymru gan ddefnyddio deunyddiau annisgwyl a syndod. Mae ei waith yn adlewyrchu thema’r ŵyl yn berffaith, gan drawsnewid deunyddiau gostyngedig, bob dydd yn gelf drawiadol ar raddfa fawr.
Ar 1 Mawrth, bydd ymwelwyr yn gallu gwylio Nathan yn gweithio’n fyw ar ei gampwaith olaf drwy gydol y dydd. Mae ei broses greadigol – troi pethau bach yn rhywbeth godidog – wrth wraidd yr ŵyl.
