About this Event

The Little Star That Could is a story about Little Star, an average yellow star in search for planets of his own to protect and warm. Along the way, he meets other stars, learns what makes each star special, and discovers that stars combine to form star clusters and galaxies. Eventually, Little Star finds his planets. Each planet is introduced to the audience with basic information about our Solar System.

Following this presentation of The Little Star That Could, Steve Davies, our very knowledgeable Program Provider, will host a live unscripted segment focused on the current night skies, which will include information about the late summer triangle. Also, a map of the summer skies will be shared with guests to take home.

If you have questions about the event, please email Alison Riordan (Science Curriculum Coordinator, Plymouth Public Schools) at [email protected].
