This spring, Grace Christian School is proud to present: Disney's The Little Mermaid, presented by Music Theatre International (MTI), a captivating musical adaptation of the beloved animated film, featuring enchanting music and a timeless story.
Based on Hans Christian Andersen's classic tale and the iconic animated film, the story follows Ariel, a young mermaid princess who dreams of living on land and falls in love with a human prince named Eric. To pursue her dreams, Ariel makes a dangerous deal with the sea witch Ursula, trading her voice for legs, leading to a series of adventures and challenges.
The musical features a score by Alan Menken, with lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater. It includes some of the most memorable songs from the film, such as: "Under the Sea," "Kiss the Girl," and "Part of Your World."
