I HEART YOUTH THEATRE/THE LITTLE MERMAID
AUDITION/ENROLLMENT NOTICE
I HEART YOUTH THEATRE is a ten week, tuition-free musical theater arts program that
will offer our theatre-loving youth (aged 8-18) of the Big Island classes, workshops and
rehearsals leading up to a full-scale production of Disney’s classic musical THE LITTLE
MERMAID which will open in March at the historic Palace Theatre.
AUDITION DATES:
Tuesday, January 14, 2025 and Wednesday, January 15, 2025
5:00-6:00 Performers aged: 8-12
6:00-8:30 Performers aged: 13-18
You only need to attend one of the days.
CALLBACKS:
Monday, January 20th, 2025 - 6:00PM—8:30PM (all ages)
LOCATION:
Hilo Palace Theater - 38 Haili St, Hilo, HI 96720
Please prepare (for the preliminary audition) one minute of your favorite song and bring
a long a karaoke track cued up to where you will be starting. Also, please be prepared to tell the production team a joke.
All performers auditioning will be taught a simple dance routine and asked to do it in a group.
