About our show:
The Listening Sessions returns for a special Valentine’s Day weekend with two nights featuring violinist Caleb Hans Polashek and cellist Jen Mulhern (Jenuine Cello). First appearing together on the Art Lounge stage in March 2023 for a powerhouse performance highlighting music from Polashek’s acclaimed debut solo violin album Illumination, the duo now reunites to explore a fresh mix of their favorite classical, contemporary, and original works for violin and cello.
An audience favorite, Caleb Han returns for his 4th appearance on the Listening Sessions Stage. Known for his versatile career as a soloist, chamber musician, composer, and recording artist, Caleb consistently brings his signature finesse, expressive depth and explosive technique to these captivating collaborations. Paired with Jenuine Cello’s spontaneous, loop-infused artistry, emotive vocals and soulful improvisation, the two create a richly immersive musical experience.
Presented in The Listening Sessions’ trademark quiet, art-filled environment, these Valentine’s concerts invite audiences to savor an intimate evening where sound becomes a shared, heartfelt conversation.
