The Listening Circle | Listening to the Body

This is a monthly series that teaches you how to hear subtle guidance from within. Each gathering offers a specific listening practice designed to help you recognize inner guidance with your body and imagination at a slow and sustainable pace.

You’re welcome to attend once, randomly, or regularly to build a cumulative practice.

Arrival & Grounding --> Short teaching on the theme --> 30 minute guided journey --> Journaling, Reflection & Sharing --> Integration & Closing

No prior experience with meditation, journeying or energy work is required.

You will relax on a yoga mat with an eye pillow and any props that you choose. I will play the frame drum at a steady 4-7 beats per second. This frequency of drumming is scientifically proven to naturally induce an altered state of consciousness in which meditation and journeying become more potent and meaningful.

Many of us need to unlearn the conditioning to dismiss the body, mistrust intuition or look outside ourselves for direction.

You can build a relationship with your inner voice to renew a sense of trust in yourself. Like any relationship it can be nurtured, practiced, repaired and improved over time.

Listening isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about learning how to be in conversation with yourself and the subtle world.
