The Lilac Festival Parade

The Lilac Parade is one of the most special days of the Rochester Lilac Festival, and it's coming back for 2027! More than 2,500 participants will march through the city, so bring your lawn chair and settle in along the route.
📍 PARADE ROUTE
The parade begins on South Avenue at Science Parkway and travels north on South Avenue. It then turns south on Highland Avenue, passes the lilac gardens, and ends at the corner of Highland Avenue and Goodman Street.
🪑 WHERE TO WATCH
Bleacher seating is available next to the grandstand on Highland Avenue. The parade will also be televised for anyone who would rather watch from home.
