Join us on Thursday, May 28th at 6PM at the REI DC Flagship courtyard for a powerful evening of movement, community, and storytelling—all in support of Stupid Cancer and their .
MOVE
Start the evening with community movement led by local crews:
- A 5K run hosted by Black Men Run DC
- A walk hosted by Black Girls Run DC
All paces and abilities are welcome—come as you are.
FILM + COMMUNITY
After the run/walk, settle in for a panel conversation with local advocates , free food, and a screening of the award-winning short documentary .
Produced by REI Co-op Studios, the 24 minute film follows Rob Shaver, who—after a stage four cancer diagnosis—made a pact to run every single day.
WHY WE GATHER
This event supports adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer survivors through Stupid Cancer, a leading organization dedicated to empowering those affected in their teens, 20s, and 30s.
