The Life We Have & Run for Rob San Antonio

Diagnosed with stage four cancer 20 years ago, San Antonio native Rob Shaver made a pact to run every day until he dies. "The Life We Have" is a quiet reflection on mortality, resilience, and the choice to live with beautiful effort.

Join us in Eisenhower Park at the Harris Pavillion for a Run for Rob 5k hosted by SARR + Rocky Horror Trail Run. Runners and walkers of all abilities, speeds, and skill levels are welcome to enjoy the trails with us.

Then, head back to Harris Pavillion for food, community resource tables and activities, and a screening of the award winning 24 minute documentary, "The Life We Have" followed by a short panel with local cancer support advocates from ThriveWell.
