From the early stages of his career as a backing musician, Jimi Hendrix played with the likes of Wilson Pickett, Little Richard, Jackie Wilson, Sam Cooke, and the Isley Brothers. In 1967, he skyrocketed into superstardom and revolutionized the sound of the electric guitar. During this program, we will look back at his short and prosperous musical career, from his early years up to his untimely death in 1970 at the age of 27.
