The Librarians: Film Screening & Community Discussion

Award-winning documentary "The Librarians" examines the rise of book challenges and censorship in libraries across the United States. Follow the film's librarians as they navigate increasing pressure over library collections while exploring the roles of intellectual freedom, education and access to information.
Following the screening, members of A Group of Concerned Citizens - Racine will facilitate a community discussion featuring local librarians, educators and other community voices.
This program is intended for teens and adults. The film contains discussions of sexual content, strong language and political conflict related to book challenges.
