Dawn Landes and friends reimagine songs from The Liberated Woman's Songbook. Originally published in 1971, this collection of folk songs leads us through a history of women's activism. The show features projections, costumes, a full band and many wonderful guest singers including Alice Gerrard, Skylar Gudasz, Shana Tucker, Lizzy Ross (Violet Bell), Kamara Thomas, Mary D Williams, and an introduction by Kathryn Hunter Williams.
