Lew Del Gatto is joined by an All-Star group of friends for a special afternoon of swinging jazz music at North Naples Church.
Tenor saxophonist Lew Del Gatto spent 30 years as a member of the Saturday Night Live Band (1975-2006) and toured and recorded with Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin and the Tonight Show Orchestra. His guests include the dynamic trumpet playing of James Suggs, the spectacular trombonist Herb Bruce (Nashville Brass and The Jack Daniels Silver Cornet Band), pianist Jerry Stawski (Co-Leader of the Naples Philharmonic Jazz Orchestra), bassist Kevin Mauldin (principal bassist of the Naples Philharmonic) and the incredibly swinging drummer and vocalist Patricia Dean. Rounding out the ensemble is jazz royalty from Japan, trumpet player Terumasa Hino. "Hino" has played with every jazz great over the last 50 years and is arguably Japan's greatest jazz musician ever!
