The Levy Humanities Series presents an evening with author Brandon Taylor. Event will take place on September 23, 2026 in Fletcher Hall Auditorium on the campus of UL Lafayette. The evening will begin with an opening reception starting at 5:00pm, followed by a book talk beginning at 6:00pm.
Taylor's books will be available for purchase on site by Cavalier House Books.
Brandon Taylor is the author of the novels Minor Black Figures, The Late Americans and Real Life, which was shortlisted for the Booker Prize and the National Book Critics Circle John Leonard Prize, and named a New York Times Book Review Editors’ Choice and a Science + Literature Selected Title by the National Book Foundation. His collection Filthy Animals, a national bestseller, was awarded The Story Prize and shortlisted for the Dylan Thomas Prize. He lives in New York City.
