The Breman Museum and Cultural Center is pleased to announce the launch of the Levison Family Music Series, honoring the Atlanta attorney who was instrumental in the founding of the William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum and remained a steadfast supporter of the institution for nearly three decades.
The annual music series debuts in 2025, with a lineup including the Joe Alterman Trio and special guest violinist Aaron Weinstein in a jazz concert titled Strings Attached on Sunday, February 23; Mazel!, a new group -- featuring 10-time Grammy winning vocalist Janis Siegel of the Manhattan Transfer, pianist John di Martino and Cantor Daniel Kramer -- reimagining Yiddish song classics on Sunday, March 23; and Flying Carpet Theatre Company debuting the concert-cabaret show Accentuate the Positive: The Music of Arlen and Mercer on Sunday, June 8.

Strings Attached: Joe Alterman Trio and Aaron Weinstein, violinist
The Joe Alterman Trio is a perennial favorite at the Breman. Jazz pianist, Alterman pair his amazing talents with jazz violinist and mandolinist, Aaron Weinstein, for an evening of fun music and friendly banter.

MAZEL! Yiddish Classics with a Backbeat
While honoring the strong musical traditions from which they came, MAZEL breathes new life into Yiddish classics through novel arrangements and re-stylings, primarily through Latin and jazz lenses. MAZEL is 10-time Grammy winner Janis Siegel (The Manhattan Transfer), Grammy-nominated pianist John di Martino, and Cantor Daniel Kramer, and featuring Boris Kozlov on bass.

Accentuate The Positive: The Music of Arlen and Mercer.
In this hybrid of concert and cabaret, performers will tell the fascinating life stories of songwriters Harold Arlen and Johnny Mercer as well as their incredible partnership. They’ll also perform such classics as "Blues in the Night", "Out of this World", "That Old Black Magic", "Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive", and "One for My Baby (and One More for the Road)".
