The Lester Prize Youth Awards is one of the country’s most recognised and prestigious portrait prizes–an award that places artists and the community front-and-centre.
Hosted by the Western Australian Museum Boola Bardip, this year’s Youth Awards present exceptional talent and fascinating insights from young creatives across Australia.
The exhibition presents an exciting selection of portraiture by high school-aged artists. The Lester Prize Youth Awards encourages young creatives to pursue their talents and aspire to a life in the visual arts. Finalists are in the running to win a share of a prize pool totalling over $5,000.
