THE LEGACY LIVES ON
Come hear the stories, songs and memories of the artists who grew up around Nashville music royalty.
What happens when the sons of Nashville legends take the stage together? The stories come alive, the memories come forward, and the songs tell the rest of the story.
Join Quinn Loggins, Hawkshaw Hawkins Jr., and Ricky Randolph for a special one-hour journey through some remarkable chapters of country music history — told by those who grew up living it.
Quinn Loggins is the son of Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame songwriter and recording artist Dave Loggins, best known for the classic “Please Come to Boston.” The Loggins family musical legacy also includes Quinn's second cousin, legendary singer and songwriter Kenny Loggins.
Hawkshaw Hawkins Jr. carries the legacy of his father, Grand Ole Opry star Hawkshaw Hawkins, and his mother, Country Music Hall of Fame member Jean Shepard. His father's story is forever intertwined with country music history — including his close friendship and Opry connection with Patsy Cline and Cowboy Copas, who were tragically lost together in the 1963 plane crash. Hawkshaw Hawkins left behind a remarkable catalog of country classics, including the No. 1 hit “Lonesome 7-7203,” “Pan American” and “Dog House Boogie.”
Ricky Randolph is the son of legendary Alabama and Nashville songwriter Mack Vickery, whose songs were recorded by some of country music's biggest names, including Waylon Jennings, George Strait, Jerry Lee Lewis, Hank Williams Jr., Tanya Tucker, Faron Young and many more. Vickery wrote or co-wrote such country favorites as “Cedartown, Georgia,” “The Fireman” and “I'll Leave This World Loving You,” and was inducted into the Alabama Music Hall of Fame in 2003.
For one special hour, these three bring their family histories, memories and music to the stage — sharing the stories behind the people and songs that helped shape country music.
The stories will be told. The songs will be sung. And Nashville's musical legacy will come alive again.
