About this Event
If you are a team leader, an aspiring team leader, or simply keen to understand what makes a good leader, come along to our Leadership Series, where we will reflect on and discuss the mahi and ideas in Dr Brené Brown’s book Dare to Lead.
In this bestseller, Brené explores four key skills (or pillars) she has identified through her research that define courageous leadership:
- Rumbling with vulnerability
- Living into our values
- Braving trust
- Learning to rise
Throughout this monthly series, we will explore each of these pillars, share our own experiences (the good, the bad, and the ugly), and look at practical ways to grow our skills, learn from our mistakes, and become more wholehearted leaders in our workplaces, communities, and families.
For our third session in the series, we will focus on empathy.
Join us on Tuesday, 12th May at Basestation, 148 Durham Street, Tauranga. Doors open at 5:00pm, and we will kick off at 5:15pm, finishing no later than 7:00pm.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Parking in Tauranga CBD is FREE after 5:00pm.
