The L.A.W of Poetry

The Love and War of Poetry is an evening of elegance and expression in Antioch, California presented by Antioch Poet Laureate Jose Cordon and Corahu LLC. Join us for an unforgettable expericence celebrating poetry through culinary treats, live music, and spoken-word performances.

Upon arrival guests will be greeted with two drink tickets. The evening will be begin with a cocktail hour from 6pm-7pm after which the program will be begin and the first course will be served. The night will feature a 3 course meal taste, 2 live musical acts, and 3 spoken-word poetry performances!

Meals

1. Freshly sliced peaches and crisp watermelon paired with a classic caprese salad featuring velvety mozzarella, sun-ripened heirloom tomatoes, and aromatic basil essence served with a gourmet balsamic glaze.
2. Golden pan-seared salmon pieces with garlic kissed sautéed asparagus laid on a creamy rich bed of buttery whipped mash potatoes.
3. Sweet decadent brownie square topped with smooth ice cream drizzled with berries and golden flakes.
