THE LATIN SOCIAL at Asbury Park is part of NJ Salsa's 'Summer Series'! 

In June, our social had a great turnout! We're doing it again on Sunday, July 14th! 

Dance Lessons

Join us for an amazing time beginning with a Bachata lesson at 2pm, by Steve Santos, Director of NJ Salsa! Pick up some moves that you can use on the dance floor and get ready to shine! The lesson will only last 30-35 mins to maximize social dancing time, so we'll do our best to start on time!

Music

We'll be dancing to the sounds of DJ Trackmaster, our beloved and resident DJ at our weekly event, 'Social Wednesdays' and our monthly event 'THE LATIN SOCIAL at American Dream'! He'll be playing the best of Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, and Latin Top 40!

Performances

We'll be bringing our some top performers to grace the stage and add to the entertainment, including a performance from Furia Ladies, and Manuel Olaya!

Concert-Like Experience

Hosting our event at House of Independents gives the opportunity to leverage their concert-level sound system, stage, and multimedia experience! We can't wait to be in that space again!

Younger Dancers Welcome

One of the unique features of this event is that it is open to younger dancers, and learners who are interested in dance. That right, unlike our other events, you don't have to be 21+ to enjoy this experience! Teens who dance, or are eager to learn to dance are welcome!

Sunset Experience

As is the case with our socials in Asbury Park, at the close of the event, a group walks down to the beach, just a few blocks away, to enjoy the sun set! This is one of our favorite parts of the experience because its a chance to meet new people organically, and take in the natural beauty of the Jersey Shore!
