  • bring your own canopy, table, chair, table coverings, displays and products
  • free parking with easy access to vending area
  • all canopies MUST BE SECURED with weights or stakes

Howell Farmers Market by Hear Here (outdoor event)

Description: This long-standing and evolving Farmers Market hosts two farmers a flower grower handmade skincare artisans a distillery handmade dog treats and other unique handmade goods. We consistently attract 150-250 visitors weekly and are growing. We're currently seeking a Baker or maker of homemade treats breads and snacks as well as a pickle vendor to join this community. Food trucks are welcome at a fee of $50 per day additional fee of $54 for the Fire Bureau for the season's approval. 


Sea Bright Farmers Market by Hear Here (outdoor event)

Description:

This evolving Farmers Market has one farmer who offers everything from eggs to stuffed breads and fresh fruits and vegetables. We also feature a sourdough bread maker a pickle vendor a flower grower a permanent jewelry vendor and a hot sauce vendor among others. Conveniently located next to the beach entrance our market attracts 250-350 visitors daily and is continuously growing. We're currently seeking a Baker or maker of homemade treats breads and snacks to join our vibrant community.


Matawan Farmers Market by Hear Here (outdoor event)

Fridays now through the end of September (possibility to extended)

Description:

This Second Season Farmers Market is seeking artisans of handmade goods and community outreach organizations. There are between 22 and 30 vendors that join us weekly with foot traffic from 350-500 people daily and growing. I am seeking vendors of unique food treats and handmade goods as well as local community centered organizations and nonprofits to exhibit at the market.

**MARKET VENDOR AGREEMENT**  

**ALL REGISTRATIONS ARE FINAL - NO REFUNDS.**


The Organizer is not responsible for any transactions between vendors and customers. Vendors are responsible for their own sales and tax collections. Sales are not guaranteed.


**Setup Guidelines:**  

- Setup times vary per market. Please be ready to sell by the market start time.  

- Setup begins as early as 2 hours prior to start.  

- No vendor may break down before the end of the market. Only the Organizer or a venue official may decide to break down earlier for safety reasons.  

- All items must be secured in case of wind and weather events.  

- All vendors must have a sturdy canopy, a tablecloth that reaches the floor, and bring their own displays and products.  


The Market Organizer reserves the right to enforce strict compliance with all rules and regulations. No exceptions will be permitted.


**Market Details:**

**1. MARKET MANAGEMENT**  

Hear Here LLC, hereafter referred to as "Organizer."


**2. SPACE ASSIGNMENT**  

The Organizer reserves the right to determine booth location. Booth sharing is not permitted without management's consent. Vendors may not assign their booth or any portion thereof to any other person for any reason.


**3. VENDOR FEES**  

Booth fees are payable in full before the event. Vendors will not be allowed to occupy any booth that is not fully paid for.  


**3a. ADVERTISING**  

All vendors are required to advertise their products or business for the market (at least one social media feed post or weekly story posts). Failure to advertise may reduce market traffic for all vendors. Vendors should tag the organizer or event page if they wish to be reposted. If a vendor does not advertise or tag the organizer or event page, their posts will not be reposted and the organizer will no longer advertise them as an anchor vendor.


**4. DISPLAY REGULATIONS**  

No exhibit may block or interfere with a neighboring exhibit. Vendors shall confine all exhibit activities within the limits of their booth.  


**5. EXHIBIT SETUP**  

No early packing is allowed before the show closes. Cooperation on this point is required. Failure to comply will result in loss of future exhibition privileges. The Organizer will not assume any liability for injuries or damages during setup and dismantling periods.


**6. SETUP INSTRUCTIONS**  

Setup instructions may vary. Contact the Organizer with any questions. Do not contact the venue.  


**7. STAFFING**  

Booth and table spaces must be staffed at all times by persons 18 years of age or older. The Organizer has the authority to enforce all rules and regulations regarding booth staffing.  


**8. VENDOR LIABILITIES**  

Vendors must keep their contracted area neat, clean, and in good order. Vendors are liable for any damage caused to the market property. Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Event, Hear Here LLC, and all their managers, the venue officers, sponsors, employees, agents, guests, successors, and assigns from any damages, expenses, or liabilities.


**9. FOOD & BEVERAGES**  

Vendors may sell food and beverages only if contracted to do so and have filed necessary forms with local health departments. Prior authorization from the Fire Official is required for cooking on premises. No intoxicating beverages may be sold without ABC approval. All required forms must be sent to the Organizer before setup.


**10. SMOKING**  

Smoking and vaping are prohibited at your space or any location inside the venue. Follow local ordinances for guidance if needed.  


**11. INSURANCE**  

All vendors must hold their own General Liability Insurance, naming the town there the event is happening.. Vendors may be asked to sign a Hold Harmless form for either the Organizer or the venue of operation.  


**12. CLEANING OF EXHIBITS**  

Vendors must thoroughly clean their space, leaving it as they found it. All garbage must be disposed of correctly, not left at the venue.  


**13. SUBLEASE**  

Subleasing tables is prohibited. Sharing a booth or table with another company without written approval from the Organizer is prohibited. Distributing materials for non-exhibiting companies without a show contract is prohibited.  


**14. VENDOR RESPONSIBILITIES**  

Vendors agree to comply with all applicable local, federal, and state tax laws, and to obtain, pay for, and display all necessary licenses and permits. The Organizer is not responsible for any taxes due from the vendor. Sales are not guaranteed.  


**14a. ATTENDANCE**  

All vendors must participate in every market for which they are registered. Absences must be promptly reported to the Organizer at least 24 hours in advance. Two consecutive unnotified absences will result in removal from the market with no opportunity for appeal or refund.  


**15. CANCELLATION CLAUSE**  

Vendors may cancel their show space reservation in writing. No refunds will be granted. All fees are non-refundable. Fees will be transferred if the event is rescheduled. If you cannot attend the rain date, your fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Emergency rescheuling is at the discretion of the Market Organizer.


**16. FORCE MAJEURE**  

The Organizer is not liable for any damages, costs, or losses if the event is canceled, postponed, or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond their control (e.g., fire, flood, pandemic, etc.). No weather-related refunds will be provided.  


**17. AMENDMENTS**  

The Organizer has the authority to interpret and enforce all contract regulations and to make necessary amendments. All vendors will be notified promptly of any changes.  


**17a. NON-COMPETE**  

Vendors are prohibited from discussing participation in competing markets with other organizations if the market conflicts with the current market. Such solicitation is considered "poaching" and may result in expulsion from the market without recourse or refund. Politely refer solicitors to the Market Manager immediately.


**18. ORGANIZER DISCRETION**  

Participation in any event is at the sole discretion of the Organizer. The Organizer is the vendor’s only point of contact and acts as a liaison between the vendor and the venue. Vendors contacting the venue without prior written approval from the Organizer will be prohibited from participating, with no recourse or refund.  


All questions must be directed to the Organizer. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse any food vendor who does not conform to the following: All vendors must handmake a consumer product. Vendors selling consumable products must have a health inspection certificate or a Cottage Food Operator’s Permit and ServSafe certification. Documents must be submitted via email at least one week prior to the event.  


Violation of these rules will result in a written warning. After the third warning, the Organizer may decide whether the vendor will be allowed to return or will be dismissed without recourse or refund.
