The Late Greats represents the return to music of former Backyard Green frontman Craig DeLucia, in partnership with acclaimed songwriter and former bandmate Rich Challen. The band’s debut EP, “Trendline,” showcases DeLucia’s first original material in over 20 years and is available now on Spotify and other major streaming services.
“Trendline” features an all-star lineup of Charlotte musicians including bassist Kerry Brooks, drummer Tim Haney and guitarist Travis Denton, and featuring guitarist Dan Hood and keyboardist Jason Atkins. Recorded at Sioux Sioux Studios under the watchful ear of acclaimed artist and engineer Jason Scavone, “Trendline” is a vibrant and triumphant mix of influences and eras from a songwriter whose lyrical voice has returned stronger than ever. The Late Greats will unveil their new material and some old chestnuts in their live debut at The Evening Muse on August 16.
