As Penelope Evans enters her 75 th year, and is now in the autumn of a long and fulfilling career as a founder and teacher at Halifax Dance she is celebrating by mounting one last production:“The Last Jazz Bliss” on Sunday, June 7 at the Lighthouse
Theatre. This show will highlight works of Penny's, and others that
have influenced her, throughout 55 years as a teacher, performer,
and choreographer of jazz dance.
Shows will be held at 2:30pm and 7:00pm at the Light House Arts Centre. Tickets are $50 each and premium tables of 8 are available for $500. Proceeds from the show will go to support Halifax Dance’s Young Company.
The Last Jazz Bliss will be a memorable one!
