Dates/Times: Saturday 6th December 9:00 - 18:00
Rules: Middle-Earth Strategy Battle Game - 2025 Rulebook
Game Size: 2x 500pts, following rules for Doubles events army construction from the Matched Play Guide 2025.
Scenarios: Drawn from MESBG Matched Play Guide Doubles Events mission pool. These will be generated prior to the start of the event. Secret Objectives (Pg59) will be in use for this event as a tie-breaker.
Number of games: Three.
Army Selection
Each player in the team should select an individual force of up to 500pts following the additional restrictions within the Matched Play Guide for Doubles Events.
In summary:
-Players may not share points when selecting their individual forces.
-An both forces must be selected from a single army list.
-Bow limit is calculated for each individual force, not across the whole army.
-Players in each team should establish which is the Primary and -Secondary force before the start of each game, the Leader of the Primary force is the Leader of the entire army for the duration of that game.
-The Break Point is calculated for the combined army rather then for each individual force.
Your Models
Models do not need to be painted for this event. However all models MUST be fully assembled, WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) and correctly based to the current standard as supplied by Games Workshop.
Third-party models, including those which are 3D printed are acceptable where they are comparable to what they represent, and conversions encouraged as long as they meet all other criteria.
If you have any queries relating to these requirements, or need clarification on whether a model is acceptable, please contact us before the event. We reserve the right to ask you to remove a model/s from play if they do not meet these requirements, with the TOs decision final.
Prizes
Best General - The first placed team and runner-up team will each receive trophies and gift vouchers.
Best Painted - The best painted team will each receive a trophies and a gift vouchers.

General Details
Parking: There is ample parking at St Saviours Way carpark which is less than a five-minute walk from the shop.
Food: We have a selection of snacks and drinks on sale throughout the weekend.
In addition, there are plenty of food options within a short distance in Crediton.
Best Coast Pairings: The BCP Tournament software is manually configured for this event, you will be added to the event prior to the list submission deadline.
Cancellations: Please note that regretfully we are unable to offer refunds or ticket transfers to future events within 14 days of the event.
Accessibility: Regretfully the store is not easily accessible to wheelchair users. However, if you have any concerns please contact us in advance of purchasing a ticket to discuss, and we will make every effort to make suitable arrangements to accommodate you.
Non-participants: The attendance of non-participants, is at the discretion of the TO. Any non-participating minors should be accompanied at all times by a supervising adult, and are the responsibility of those they accompany.
