The Land Of Forgotten Songs- London Premier
About this Event
Event Overview
Join us for the London Premiere of The Land of Forgotten Songs, an award-winning documentary created in collaboration with Indigenous communities of the Amazon rainforest.
Filmed across Brazil and Peru, the film offers a rare glimpse into the ceremonial life, mythology, daily traditions, and cosmological vision of the Kaxinawa Huni Kuin, Awa, Kayapo, Matis, Enawene Nawe, and Shipibo peoples. Through breathtaking cinematography and a unique collection of archival material, the film invites audiences into a world where ancient wisdom, nature, and community remain deeply interconnected.
Following the screening, we are honoured to welcome Ninawa Pai da Mata, Pajé and spiritual leader of the Huni Kuin people, for a special evening of conversation and traditional songs from the Amazon.
