C-U's champion of the Hammond B3 Kurt Reeder and his supergroup The ORGANization return to the Rose Bowl in January! This collective delivers the classic, hard-hitting hard bop organ/soul jazz from the masters of the genre: Jimmy Smith, Don Patterson, Big John Patton, Charles Earland, and local organ legend Brother Jack McDuff. With a stage full of local aces, this band will give you the home cookin' you've been lookin' for.

🎶Jazz Happy Hour at The Rose Bowl Tavern (Every Wednesday and Friday) features a rotating cast of the best local and regional musicians performing a diverse array of jazz styles and flavors. 5 - 7pm, start the evening with great music, tasty drinks and good times in a cozy-no frills environment! BYOFood (many restaurants in downtown Urbana). Never a cover, though tips for the musicians are always appreciated.
