Afternoon show 3pm. Evening show 6.30pm.
James Warren and John Baker present The Korgis songbook and music by artists they have worked with and been inspired by, including Tears for Fears, Peter Gabriel, The Beatles & The Everly Brothers.
The Korgis scored their first hit with 'If I Had You,' in 1979. This was followed in 1980 by 'Everybody’s Got To Learn Sometime,' which was a top five smash in the UK and was a number one in France and Spain as well as being a top ten hit across Europe and Australia.
Confirming its status as one of the great modern pop standards, the song has since been covered by many artists including Richard Thompson, Beck, Erasure and Zucchero. Beck’s version is the title track of his new mini album, while the original features in the acclaimed Timothy Chamalet movie, ‘Marty Supreme.’
The Korgis’ recent single, 'Coffee In New York' topped the Heritage chart.
