Come and see The Knitted Bible Exhibition - 36 different table-top scenes depicting some of the best-known stories in the Bible ranging from Noah and his ark, Daniel in the lion’s den, and Jonah and the whale to the Christmas and Easter stories. The Exhibition will be hosted jointly by Buildwas and Eaton Constantine Churches with 18 scenes in each church, 2-4pm Friday 10th, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th October - so do come along and marvel at the creative interpretation of well-known Bible stories in yarn! There will be light refreshments and drinks at both churches. Admission to the exhibition is free, but donations will be welcomed. Visitors will also receive a knitted / crafted angel to keep as a memento of their visit to the exhibition, lovingly knitted by members of the local Come and Join us group as well as members of the wider church and village communities. A ‘must see’ event - so make sure you don’t miss it! The exhibition is generously loaned by St George’s United Reformed Church, Hartlepool.
