The Knave and the Moon Midnight Release Party

Please join Grimsby Books in celebrating the release of The Knave and the Moon, the second and final instalment of The Stonewater Kingdom duology by Rachel Gillig at our midnight release party!

Important: this event is being held off-site at The Forty Public House to accomodate more attendees! There will be food and drink available for purchase. Must be 19 or older to attend.

The Forty Public House is a two minute walk from us on Main Street and the same free parking lot can be used to get to them as you would normally use to visit us.

What to expect:

Time: 9 PM - 12:30 AM (drop-in any time before midnight! For the best experience, we recommend coming earlier than later.)

Book: Your ticket will automatically include a copy of The Knave and the Moon! When the clock strikes 12, it'll be all yours!

Trivia: We will be doing themed trivia in small teams! If you do not have folks attending with you to partner with, we'll set up a group for you! We are all here to celebrate the release of The Knave and the Moon so if you attend solo, you'll surely make fast friends with other attendees!

If you are attending with friends, please let us know if you'd like to be on the same trivia team! Please email us at [email protected] to let us know the names of who you'd like to be with on your team. We will try our very best to keep you together, but we cannot make a 100% guarantee.

Giveaways: We will have various giveaways throughout the evening.

Colouring: We will have themed colouring pages! Get creative and spend some time drawing. We have all the supplies you'll need.

Bedazzling: Bedazzle your copy of The Knight and the Moth! We will have all the supplies you will need. Bring your own book or purchase an add-on for your ticket if you'd like to bedazzle but don't have your own copy to bring. We will have limited extra copies with us to purchase on-site if you forget yours!

Predictions Board: Write down your predictions and fan theories and debate them! We're sure you'll all have some thoughts . . . and you'll know in just a few short hours if you were right!

And, of course, you'll get to hang out with fellow fans. We may add more activites and make small tweaks as the date approaches.

Please note: this is a SPOILER FRIENDLY event. If you have not yet read The Knight and the Moth, we highly suggest reading it before this midnight release party.
