After an incredible turnout at the first-ever teen “Kickback” event in September, Sylacauga Parks & Recreation is excited to announce that The Kickback will return on Thursday, October 16, from 5–8 p.m. at Central Park (across from Blue Bell Creameries).The Kickback is designed exclusively for teens ages 14–18 as a safe and fun evening to hang out with friends, enjoy good food, and relax to great music. Once again, DJ Weechie Entertainment (Demetrius Thomas) will provide the soundtrack for the night—and this time, he is generously sponsoring the event with his services.
Food trucks will also be on-site, with the lineup to be announced soon. Teens are encouraged to bring money for dinner to support the vendors who make this event possible. Admission is free, and seating will be available, though lawn chairs are welcome. Security will be on-site to ensure a safe environment.
