The Journey Kwantu is an award-winning podcast, hosted by Vusumzi Ngxande, that has been a platform through which many people have found a way to engage with and learn more about African spirituality and identity as well as finding ways to restore their connection with their own journey. After taking a sabbatical to complete Journey Kwantu - the book, the podcast is set to make its long-awaited return. For this chapter of the podcast, there will be a visual component that will offer a meditative aspect to the audio. For this launch, Vusumzi Ngxande will also be making his local foray into publicly exhibiting his artwork. This work spans photography and digital art as handmade spiritual artifacts. The aim of the event is to create an immersive experience of the KWANTU body of work that will expand the world view of not just the podcast but of the audience and their place within the evolving understanding of contemporary culture and spirituality.
