The Journey Is the Thing Tour is an immersive variety experience that weaves together live music, curated installations, film, and a panel discussion. Each stop on this tour walks audiences through self reflection, grief, loss, memory, love, connection and hope with a compass-forward spirit.
The center of the evening echoes one question:
How do we carry forward purposefully, no matter where the journey currently finds us, and think more meaningfully about the life we're creating?
Audiences are invited into the world of Kid Admiral's debut film, The Long Road Home — a deeply moving documentary that follows the McMillian family in the wake of De'Andre's passing, a young man loved deeply by a community that still carries him.
