The Johnnie Johnson Jam feat Everyday Everybody, Heavy Hitters, PennSOULvanians and Aristotle Jones
Aristotle Jones is a West Virginia-based musician known as the "Appalachian Soul Man," blending soul, funk, and gospel with stories of Appalachian Black history, influenced by Bill Withers and Johnnie Johnson, while also being a radio personality and community advocate for Black arts in the region. He's a singer, pianist, and guitarist with his Amazing Appalachian Soul Band, known for uplifting, genre-blending music that celebrates his heritage from Osage, WV, and the contributions of Black coal miners and creatives. Aristotle has a special set dedicated to Johnnie to open the show.

DC-based band Everyday Everybody (fka AZTEC SUN) has been performing since 2012, producing a sound blending Funk, Soul, Jazz, and Afrofunk. Their energetic live performances have yielded numerous rewards for the group - such as being named Best Local Original Band by the Washington City Paper, named Best Funk group by the Washington Area Music Association, profiled in the Washington Post and featured on NPR's 2022 Tiny Desk Concert Tour and sharing the stage with international and national touring acts such as The Wailers, Burning Spear, The Suffers, Cory Henry, Durand Jones & The Indications, Cedric Burnside and others.
