The 18th Annual Friday Night Street Dance will be epic this year, because we are hosting the fantastic band The Jimmies, under the big-top tent on Fulton Street, downtown Waupaca!Known for having everyone in the crowd on their feet, The Jimmys are an award-winning, high energy, 7-piece funky blues band that combines the seasoned keyboard and Hammond B-3 organ talents of Jimmy Voegeli, legendary blues guitarist Perry Weber on six-strings and vocals, drummer Chris Sandoval - veteran of the Tommy Castro band, the expertise of southern Wisconsin's finest bass guitarist John Wartenweiler, and a killer horn section featuring Pete Ross on tenor sax, Chad Whittinghill on trumpet, and Joe Goltz on trombone.
Come early (6pm) and grab some delicious food from our food venders... Enjoy Beer wine and other Beverages right in the Main Tent.
The Street Dance is free, thanks to all the wonderful community support we receive, including our title sponsor for 2024, Community First Credit Union!
