Rave Tesar Keyboardist, Composer, Producer, Engineer. Began playing piano at an early age, and developed an affinity for all styles of music. He began his career working on the Jazz scene in and around New York with numerous groups and leaders. His reputation soon led to national and international tours as a side man with singer Frankie Randal, rock and roll hall-of-famers "The Shirreles" and the minimalist pop group "Tirez Tirez", led by Mikel Rouse. Rave is, perhaps, best known for his long-standing collaboration with singer Annie Haslam and her progressive rock band "Renaissance". Serving as a co-writer and producer, Rave worked on several of Haslam's solo projects as well as the 2001 Renaissance "live" from Japan CD, "The Land of the Rising Sun", and the most recent Renaissance studio album, "Grandine il Vento", on which he also served as primary producer.
In addition to his work in jazz and pop music, Rave has written and recorded numerous works for film and television. He is also an educator, and is featured as such in the public television series, "Exploring the World of Music".
John Arbo has been a music educator and performer for nearly 50 years. His background stretches from 9 years in the pit for Miss Saigon, to a part time member of the rock band Renaissance to an in demand session player for recordings and live performances for a variety of jazz artists. At home on electric and acoustic John is also an excellent vocalist. He's worked with Woody Herman and been an associate with so many tri-state area musicians that his name is heard in most circles.
James 'Worm' Wormworth - Percussion / Drums
is probably best known as the drummer on the Conan O’Brien show, which included The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, The Basic Cable Band with Jimmy Vivino, Conan – TV Series, and he was the replacement drummer for the Max Weinberg 7 (#upgrade but you didn’t hear that from me) Because of the thousands of notable stars he played with on that show alone, his credits list is too long to list but would read like a who’s who of music luminaries. Additionally, he is a first call session player having provided drums and/or percussion on movies and TV shows such as Messenger, TV Funhouse, The Mark Twain Prize: Neil Simon, etc. It runs in the family: James’ father is renowned jazz drummer Jimmy Wormworth aka James Wormworth Sr., and his sisters are Tracy Wormworth who was a member of the B52’s, Waitresses, The Rosie O'Donnell Show's Bassist, Sting etc. and his other sister is vocalist Mary Wormworth.James “Worm” Wormworth is also known for playing the drums barefoot. #FactactinTinactin)
