The Jazz Sophisticates Dance Orchestra is excited to kick off the 24th season of Jazz on the Plazz with a celebration of the elegance and lively spirit of the Jazz Age.Inspired by the glamorous late 1920s and early 1930s, our ensemble joyfully combines lively jazz rhythms with the rich, cinematic charm reminiscent of early Hollywood dance orchestras. With our talented vocalist, Heidi Evelyn, leading the way, our lively fourteen-piece orchestra revives vintage arrangements that capture both the vibrant energy of the dance floor and the era's sophisticated ambiance. We draw inspiration from popular tunes and classic film-era pieces, offering a unique and heartfelt interpretation of early jazz traditions.

Jazz on the Plazz concerts are free and open to the public, with designated general admission areas throughout the Los Gatos Town Plaza. Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs and picnic items. Blankets are not permitted. Reserved seating, located directly in front of the stage, is available for purchase and often sells out in advance.
