The Janes Movie Screening

Join Make It Work Nevada for a special screening of The Janes, a powerful and timely documentary that tells the story of a group of courageous female activists who built an underground network to provide safe, illegal abortions before the Roe v. Wade decision.

Set in the pre-Roe era, The Janes follows a collective of women known simply as "Jane" who risked their freedom to help over 11,000 women obtain low-cost or free abortions. Their story is one of bravery, community care, and the unrelenting fight for reproductive justice—a fight that continues to this day.
