● What: The Jake Jaunt 2026, a paddling event for all comers on the Missouri River
● Where: Riverside Park Boat Ramp, Yankton, SD (far downriver end of park near ball diamonds) ends at Clay County boat ramp.
● When: Arrive between 7-8 a.m. to give yourself time to unload, register/pay and get set to launch at 9 a.m. sharp.
● How: We will have registration HQ in nearby shelter. Unload/stage you craft, come register and then meet some folks, maybe help them if they need it, and be ready to begin as mentioned above.
● Why: It differs for every paddler, but the sheer enjoyment of the river is reason enough. Plus Jake would think it was cool.
