The Issaquah Library Is Turning 25!

Join us to celebrate the Issaquah Library building's 25th birthday! We will have a full day of programs, refreshments, community art on display, nostalgia, remarks by library and civic leaders and concluding with a library history presentation.
Event Timeline:
11:30am-12:15pm: Zaniac Comedy Show: With the energy of 1,000 suns, Alex Zerbe, the Zaniac, moves like an untamed rubber band around the stage. Jaws will drop as the audience braces itself against an onslaught of comedy, juggling and wacky rap songs!
12:15-12:45: Meet Pikachu! Pokémon turns 30 this year, so stop by to wish the library and Pikachu a happy birthday!

2:30pm: Remarks by Library and Community Leaders

3:30pm-4:15pm: History of the Issaquah Library: Executive Director Paul Winterstein of the Issaquah History Museums will tell the story of the library's history in Issaquah beginning with its origins in a barbershop.
