The Islander Festival - Social Saturdays: Photography Workshop

Join us for a special workshop run by London Lighthouse Gallery & Studio’s resident artist, Sokari, and gain expertise from a photographer that has been working and exhibiting in the UK, Europe and North America for over 10 years.

The workshop will start with an introduction to this subject, then cover key theories of composition, perspective and shooting modes.

Sokari will then take you on a tour of the island, spotting architectural styles and experimenting with techniques. The workshop ends with review and feedback of images taken during the walk and Q&A.

Please Note:

This workshop is not an introduction to photography - participants are expected to have basic knowledge of photography. The workshop will focus on helping you with skills and techniques for taking architectural photography.

Participants must come along with a camera, preferably DSLR or Mirrorless cameras, (not mobile phone cameras). We recommend you bring:

● DSLR or Mirrorless camera.

● Fully charged battery.

● An empty memory card
