The Island Highland Gathering is back and the red squirrel army will be attending with Debbie Hart.
Our gorgeous cuddly red squirrels will be resplendent in their brand new, bespoke kilts. Each of them hoping to find a loving family to adopt them here on the Isle of Wight 💞
In addition to the red squirrel army and other beautiful squirrely items, you will be able to enjoy haggis hurling, dance competitions, piping, Highland games are a spectacle like no other.
This hugely popular local event is now in its 15th year and draws large crowds from all over the Island to enjoy a spectacle of Highland themed entertainment to raise money for local charities.
The opening ceremony will see the massed pipes and drum bands and dancers march in procession into the main arena to the welcome of the Chieftain for the day.
You can watch an array of pipe and marching bands alongside an assortment of Irish and Scottish Dancers as well as Highland Games including tossing the caber and haggis hurling; plus a wonderful assortment of Island craft and food stalls, Scottish food, bar and BBQ.
Or why not take along a picnic and blanket and lap up the sights and sounds!
Enjoy an address to the haggis, while Wight Hot Pipes are playing.
There will be classic cars and stalls galore plus whisky tasting and raffles during a day filled with great family entertainment.
All children under 17 go FREE!
