Step into the glow for an evening of art, fire, and a little bit of danger.

The Iron Pour returns to Durham, and this intimate party at Foster on the Park puts you above the action for an extraordinary view of Liberty Arts’ spectacular molten-metal spectacle. As darkness falls, watch as artists transform glowing iron into art below. This year, the party returns to the Foster on the Park Overlook, the sixth floor balcony made for scintillating park views.

Before the pour, Liberty Arts artists will take guests behind the scenes with an insider’s look at the history, craft, and controlled chaos of the Iron Pour.

Then settle in for an evening of music, candlelight,  and amusing beverages and appetizers built around the flame. Expect smoky, charred, and fire-roasted bites from local restaurants, paired with beer, wine, and soft drinks.

Come dressed for the occasion in black, copper, ember, or flame-inspired attire. As the night reaches its peak, the real spectacle begins: molten iron glowing against the dark, sparks flying, and the unmistakable roar of the Iron Pour.

This event is part of the Parties for the Park fundraisers for Durham Central Park. Durham Central Park is a 5-acre city park that is managed, programmed, and developed by Durham Central Park, Inc. (DCP, Inc.), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. DCP, Inc. receives no direct funding from the City of Durham.
