Some albums stay with you. You remember where you were when you first heard them, the songs you played over and over, and the memories attached to them.
This September, The Interlude is celebrating 50 years of Stevie Wonder’s Songs in the Key of Life — an album that still feels just as rich, relevant, and alive today.
Created and hosted by Ashley Tillman, The Interlude is a night for people who really love music. We’ll spend time with the album, talk about the stories and ideas behind the songs, share what the music means to us, and of course, listen together.
We’ll open the evening with Jawanah performing a live set of Stevie Wonder favorites, then settle in for conversation, listening, and all the moments that happen when a room full of music lovers gets together around a great album. Beverages and light bites will be provided throughout the evening.
Come hang out, sing along, share a memory or two, and celebrate a record that gave us so much to talk about.
