The Indigo Salon: A Night of Poetry with Ciara Hendrix

Ciara Hendrix is a Fort Lauderdale–based poet, multimedia storyteller, and writer whose work centers the reclamation of the Black female gaze, sensuality, nature, and community. Inspired by bell hooks and Toni Morrison, she explores themes of bodily autonomy and emotional liberation. Her work has been featured in performances at the Pérez Art Museum Miami and the Adrienne Arsht Center.
