On March 5th Rick, Susie, Darrell and Matt have chosen some of their favorite Classic Soul and Motown songs to perform for your listening pleasure!We’re talking Curtis Mayfield, Temps, Tops, Stevie, Stylistics, Betty Wright, Delfonics, King Floyd…more songs you forgot you remembered!!!
THE BAND:
RICK HOWARD – Guitar and Vocals
Rick Howard’s 51 years of guitar playing and vocalizing have put him into every situation and every musical genre. At age fourteen Rick was performing at local functions and by nineteen he was getting his Jazz legs playing nightclubs while teaching guitar in a Brooklyn music school.Rick Howard is known by his peers to be one of the most diversified and eclectic guitarists on the scene.
DARRELL NUTT – Drums
Darrell Nutt has been a professional drummer since he was 14. He moved to Southwest Florida in 1995 and started his company deMEDIA Group after many years of iouring globally with country and rock artists. Darrell was recently inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame and has received numerous international awards. Additionally, he has composed, mixed, engineered and acted for TV, video, film and podcasts.
SUSIE HULCHER – Bass & Vocals
Susie is an energetic vocalist, compelling songwriter and versatile bassist and guitarist, and her vast array of sonic influences is readily apparent when she performs live, and especially in her original songs. Susie operates in many realms! Playing solo is always fun, but she loves the larger world of playing bass in a duo/trio/band context.
MATT BAXLEY – Keyboard & Vocals
Matt is the keyboardist and vocalist for many Southwest Florida groups and has produced music for local and national songwriters. He is originally from Tennessee. In addition to being a musician, Matt is a producer, video game composer, author, educator, YouTuber and self-proclaimed synthesizer guru.
