The Incantations fuse rock, folk, and blues into a modern Americana sound shaped by atmosphere and edge. Their music moves between dark and light, guided by haunting melodies and a dreamy rock undercurrent.
At the center of their sound is the compelling blend of Lisa Mackie and Ryan Gladding’s voices. Distinct on their own, their tones come together in a way that gives the band a unique and memorable vocal identity. Their story-driven writing and melodic focus draw listeners in, supported by guitar tones built on warm, resonant sustain. Joe Garcia’s drumming and Adam Nolan’s bass lines give the band a steady pulse and depth beneath its shifting dynamics. The Incantations craft a cinematic sound shaped by the roads they’ve traveled and the stories behind their songs.

The Missing Generation hail from Kalamazoo, MIchigan and consist of Chris Schleuder (Vocals, guitar), Tim Sparling (Vocals, guitar, bass), and Abe Savas (Vocals, guitar, bass), as well as brand new member Kevin Dorcy (Drums). The band has been performing in some form for over a decade, and in 2023 released their debut album, Spontaneous Human Combustion, followed quickly by In Case of Love, their sophomore effort, in 2025. Schleuder, Sparling, and Savas all contribute to the songwriting, and these three distinct voices, as well as their instrumental versatility, keep things interesting. While the songs have a loose, garage-y feel, the real focus is on the punchy, melodic hooks and clever lyrics. The band is excited to return to the stage after a yearlong absence!

Zero sun is a 4-piece band from Kalamazoo Michigan, consisting of Brody Barr on vocals and guitar, Julian Barry on bass, Quinn Sahlgren on keys, and Jake Hess on drums. Zero sun has a sound you can’t just put one singular genre on. Their indie, grunge, and new wave sound creates a unique blend of sounds, ranging from soft to hard rock. Jake, Brody, and Quinn met through the “Kalamazoo Academy Of Rock” and have been playing with each other for a while. When they began to write music outside of the KAR program, Julian took the reins as bassist, making them a full quartet, and a power force of a band.
