Introducing the inaugural chalMET Gala: New Orleans’ own unique spin on the Met Gala, with a distinctly New Orleans point of view.
Presented by the Greater New Orleans Social Arts Network (GNOSAN), the chalMET Gala celebrates the extraordinary costume designers, wearable artists, and creative minds whose work helps make New Orleans unlike anywhere else in the world.
We will be showcasing some of the city’s most imaginative creators in a setting worthy of their work.
Come dressed to impress. Come inspired. Come ready to see what happens when New Orleans creativity gets the red-carpet treatment.

There will be live music, entertainment, bottomless bubbles, unforgettable looks, and plenty of surprises.
LIMITED TICKETS AVAILABLE
There will be NO DOOR SALES, so tickets must be purchased in advance.
Most importantly, your night out supports something bigger. Proceeds benefit GNOSAN and our work creating opportunities for local artists and strengthening the creative community that makes New Orleans the magical city it is.
