Town & Gown Players presents THE ICARUS MONOLOGUES. Lost in a crumbling garden, one young actor struggles to discover the truth behind the myths heard in modern day. The Icarus Monologues explores how stories have been warped by their tellers, and history by its winners, through the medium of Greek gods and goddesses. Join this old cast of characters through a new lens and journey into history (re)told. Libby Grace Garrett is an incoming freshman at the University of Georgia after having graduated summa cum laude from North Oconee High School. She has been involved in theater since she was a little girl and started writing plays her freshman year. The Icarus Monologues is her debut show both as a playwright and as a director! She plans on becoming more involved with Town and Gown through her college career- both as director and actor. She is planning to major in Anthropology and Religion with a minor in Spanish. She hopes to become a religious archaeologist.
