The Hunt For Peterborough's 1st Official King, Thing or Queen of Halloween

Get ready for a spooktacular night of drag, costumes, and Halloween fun! Madeleine Minogue and The El P proudly present: The Hunt for Peterborough’s First Official Drag King, Thing, or Queen of Halloween on October 25th, 2025. This free, inclusive event will feature a thrilling competition with prizes for the best runway look and talent performance, plus a $50 audience costume prize!

Expect dazzling performances from established local drag artists, a runway showcase, and a talent portion where contestants will perform lip-syncs, monologues, dance, or any creative act they choose. The audience will also get in on the action with a costume contest judged by the host and crowd feedback.

The show kicks off at 8:00 PM at The El P in Downtown Peterborough, with doors opening at 7:30 PM. The venue is fully accessible, has gender-neutral washrooms, and plenty of backstage space for performers. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
